Process Design

Arguably the most common reason for process or software under-performance in an organisation is poor design. Previous implementation projects may have jumped to quick fix solutions that apply a sticking plaster but don’t address the core performance drivers of the organisation, resulting in poor ways of working that don’t contribute to the growth and profitability of the company.
Poor design can be recognised by symptoms such as work-arounds, duplication, conflicting data, personal versions, spreadsheet-itis and organisational frustration. It needn’t be like that. Good process and software design is fundamental to supporting a high performing organisation. It ensures alignment between functions and improves communication and collaboration towards business objectives.
Good design provides the sound foundations upon which the organisation can thrive. I provide tools and techniques to enable your organisation to diagnose the problems with existing processes and to create new designs that truly drive performance, day after day, year after year.
